Who I Am
I’m a first-generation, queer, Mexican-American woman, and a millennial therapist who believes healing is both sacred and revolutionary. I grew up between Mexico and Southern California, and those early experiences shaped my understanding of family systems, cultural identity, and the impact that adversity has on the mind, body, and spirit. These formative moments inspired me to pursue a path focused on healing—first for myself, and eventually in support of others.
I studied Cognitive Science at UCLA, where I immersed myself in psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, and the nature of consciousness. Later, in graduate school at Chapman University, I completed my training in Marriage and Family Therapy and sought a Certificate in Sex Therapy through Antioch University when I moved to Seattle in 2021. Throughout my academic career, I held various roles that strengthened my leadership abilities and taught me the importance of connection, vulnerability, and emotional presence. I’m delighted to bring my lived experience and training to guide others.
I am also shaped by a deep respect for spirituality as a source of meaning, insight, and connection. My own spiritual path has included meditation, energy work, intuitive practices, and transformative experiences that have helped me understand healing as both an inner and relational process. I don’t follow a single tradition—I draw from a blend of ancestral wisdom, embodied awareness, and contemplative practices that support grounding, clarity, and self-compassion. I welcome clients who hold spiritual, intuitive, or existential beliefs, and I strive to create space where these parts of your lived experience can be honored, integrated, and explored with openness and respect.
What Inspires Me
My path to becoming a sex therapist was shaped by my own healing journey through childhood sexual trauma, hypersexuality, infidelity, and kink. I know what it’s like to carry shame, to feel disconnected from your body, and to long for a deeper sense of pleasure and belonging. That’s why I’m passionate about helping others reclaim their sexuality on their own terms. I work to dismantle the heteronormative and patriarchal systems that restrict sexual expression and perpetuate shame. I believe there’s great intelligence in our bodies and that accessing our erotic energy is crucial for vitality and wellbeing.
Who I Can Support
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating sexual trauma, shame, and identity exploration—including kink, BDSM, and non-traditional relationships. Whether you’re seeking to reconnect with your body, explore your desires, or heal from past wounds, I offer a non-judgmental, affirming space where all parts of you are welcome.
In addition to sexuality, I work with individuals who are seeking:
— trauma-informed support
— identity, cultural, or ancestral healing
— spiritual development and integration
— psychedelic-related preparation or integration
— deeper self-understanding and empowerment
